Thanks for your articles, comments, and overall passion for the Vine.

I think you are right about politicians looking out for number one. Although I do believe there are true public servants, I would contest that they are few and far between.

If you break down the national political parties that endorse candidates this is how it would break down.

Tier 1:
Republicans and Democrats

Tier 2: Constitutionalists, Libertarians, and Greens

Tier 3:
The remaining 44

It amazes me that if you look at each tier there are a lot of similarities.

Republicans and Democrats often look the same. Constitutionalists, Libertarians, and Greens have a lot in common with each other; but are very different from those in Tier 1.

Tier 3 is were the most diversity is found, but that should be expected with such large numbers.

I personally vote Libertarian, but I have my eye on a few 3rd tier parties (but they are never on a ballot near me).
